The sushi is really good, the service was very good even though they were busy. Simple things like not having to wait for a water re-fill are the little touches that elevate a dinner service. My wife tried their salmon special which came with wasabi mashed potatoes. I had mentioned it on our reservation and the waitress surprised us with a delicious dessert with a candle. Stayed , however, and food was good as usual. Slate is located in power ranch golf clubhouse and although the patio looked adorable we sat inside which felt like your typical clubhouse. Others had the French dip and raved about it as well.
